LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – The sale of fake A-level degrees is on rise in Lahore as University of Management and Technology (UMT) captured a student for taking admission on forged documents.
The university has lodged a case in Township police station after which an investigation into the matter has been initiated.
The campus has alleged that the worker of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore Abdul Jabbar is running a fake degrees racket whereas a letter has also been sent to the board officials in this regard. They claimed that Jabbar is receiving Rs100,000 to provide the fake documents.
Speaking at a press conference, UMT Rector Hassan Sohaib said that the university administration has been directed to strictly follow the rule.
