3-year-old girl killed after kidnapping in Abbottabad
The girl was was choked to death after brutal torture.
ABBOTTABAD (Dunya News) – A 3-year-old girl named Marwa Faizan was kidnapped in Abbottabad for Rs 5 million ransom, and was choked to death after brutal torture when parents failed in delivering the money on Saturday.
The incident took place in Mirpur police station’s area Jhangi. Child’s dead body was found from a shopping bag that police recovered from roof of kidnappers’ house.
Girl’s grandfather Muhammad Aslam had notified the missing of Marwa Faizan in Mirpur police station a day before. Police traced the kidnappers when they called for ransom money and arrested two suspects named Hassan and Tauseef as well.
Police have handed over the suspects to Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and a case has been filed against the suspects under section 302, 365 and ATA 7/6.
The suspects, who were presented in court today, have been sent to CTD on a fifteen-day remand by the court.
It has also been found out that the alleged kidnappers are close relatives of the child and they abducted her from her house after Juma prayer.
