KARACHI (Dunya News) -An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad acquitted nine people on Thursday accused of kidnapping youngsters for ransom due to lack of evidence.

Police adopted the stance that the suspect Leli Gul and her mother Sadia Gul used to kidnap youngsters while asking for lift.
They said that the group includes Sadia Gul’s husband and other six suspects who kidnapped Saadur Rehman and Ahsan Abbasi.
Both the abductees were released after ransom, they added.
Cases were registered against the nine-member group three years back.
Police said that both the youngsters went abroad after receiving threats therefore; their statement cannot be recorded.
The court acquitted all the suspects over the lack of witnesses’ statements.
