RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – More than 2400kg unhygienic meat was confiscated in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
However; the meat sellers managed to escape from the scene after a wrestle with the Punjab Food Authority’s raiding team.
The raid was carried out in Bhabra Market under the supervision of Deputy Director Operations Punjab Foods Fareeha Anwar.

The suspects Ishtiaq Maseeh and Shabir alias Shabo fled the scene after resisting the arrest.
The meat was disposed off in the presence of veterinary officer and a case was registered against the escaped suspects.
The meat was brought from Mandi Bahauddin to supply in the hotels of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
