LAHORE (Web Desk) – Police on Monday arrested a bakery owner for taking hostage a female food safety officer Tahira Kulsoom.
According to details, Samnabad Town’s food security officer raided the production unit of Tasty Bakers located at Poonch road.

The production unit’s owner Kaleem Akhtar called a lawyer named Gul Hassan who with his three accomplices took Tahira Kulsoom as hostage and tortured her.
The food security officer called police and while registering case against the bakery owner sealed the production unit.
Tahira Kulsoom said that besdies substandard material, chemical food colour and flavours were being used in the preparation of food items.
The raid was carried out on the usage of opened sewerages, dirty and broken freezers and machines.
