HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – Two dacoits, involved in murder and other heinous crimes were killed in an alleged encounter with police, Dunya News reported Friday.
Police stated that personnel stopped two suspects, riding a motorcycle, at a check point in Lateefabad Number Three.
The culprits opened indiscriminate fire at the personnel, retaliating to which, police gunned down both of them. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Irfan Baloch said that the two killed persons have been identified by names Mashook and Azeem.
He said that the culprits were wanted in several cases of dacoities, attempted murder and looting. Criminals were also involved in murder of Dadu’s police constable Shabbir, he added.
The law enforcement agency is carrying out further investigations.
