KARACHI (Dunya News) – Residents of New Karachi Town Wednesday night shaved off the head and beard of a fake ‘Amil’ (shaman) and then proceeded to thrash him. Residents then handed him over to the police after beating him up. The citizens were enraged over the ‘Amil’s’ fraudulent schemes for conning people for their money.
According to the police, the fraud con artist Adnan Shah used to deceive and took money from people by showing his pictures with influential personages.
Residents handed him over to New Karachi area’s police station. A case has been registered against him.
