LAHORE (Dunya News) – The customs officials on Monday have foiled heroin smuggling bid hidden in books scheduled to be dispatched to Holland from Lahore.
The smugglers in the metropolis adopted a new way to transfer their items from one place to another. The suspects were taken into custody after security personnel checked a suspicious packet containing books.
The officials stated that the suspects were taking 500 grams of heroin ordered by Vehari resident Waris Khan to the Holland.
However, an investigation into the matter has been launched.
