NAWABSHAH (Web Desk) - At least three dacoits were killed and two others were nabbed in alleged encounter between police and Robbers here on Tuesday.
The incident came to light in the precincts of Piyo Police station, when a group of dacoits was found looting near Dolatpur area.
Upon receiving information from personnel boarded on car, Police reached on the spot and cordoned off the area.
Suddenly, when they saw police they started firing, police also started retaliation and Robber Salhi Machi along with his two other accomplices were killed in the encounter while one police person also sustained serious injuries.
SSP Javaid Jaskani told the media that Salhi Machi was wanted by police in several cases including abduction for ransom, murder, attempted murder and robbery incident.
Police also fixed his head money with worth of Rs 15 lacks.
