Summary A woman was arrested for allegedly killing another woman in the federal capital.
ISLAMABAD (Online) - Ramna police has arrested a housemaid for her alleged involvement in killing of an elderly woman in Sector G-11/1 here on Tuesday.
According to police spokesman, Sofia, a resident of Sector G-11/1, was found dead in bathroom of her house, tied with ropes allegedly by her maid, Fiza Yasir who killed her with the help of her aides.
However, SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq constituted a special team under the supervision of SP (Saddar) Sajid Kiyani who nabbed the culprits Fiza Yasir along with her husband.
After killing Sofia, Fiza Yasir took away gold ornaments and other valuables of the deceased.
The police registered a case against the murder under section 302/381/34 PPC and initiated investigation.
The SSP appreciated the active role of the police concerned and announced cash prizes as well as commendation certificates for them.
