LAHORE (Dunya News) – A decision on whether Pakistan will participate in the ICC T20 World Cup is expected today.

According to sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi today. The meeting between the Prime Minister and the Interior Minister is likely to take place at 6pm, after which an announcement regarding the World Cup is expected.

Sources say a final decision on Pakistan’s participation in the World Cup is likely to be made today, and the decision will be taken by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to sources, once a decision to participate in the T20 World Cup is made, a decision regarding the unveiling of the national team’s kit will also be taken. However, if Pakistan does not go to the World Cup, the kit will not be unveiled.

Sources add that the PCB has also prepared Plan B in case Pakistan does not participate in the World Cup.

According to sources, if Pakistan decides not to take part in the T20 World Cup, a four-team tournament will be organised in Lahore. The Pakistan team and the Shaheens Under-18 team will be divided into four teams for the tournament.
