Australia, replying to Sri Lankas first innings total of 174, were 133-3 at lunch on the second day of the second cricket Test in Pallekele on Friday.Sri Lanka resisted Australians who had resumed their innings at 60/0 with a good show of spin and seam bowling.Shane Watson (36) was bowled in the second full over of the day and Phil Hughes (36) in the first over after the short break.Michael Clarke (13) then chased a wide ball from Chanaka Welegedara and was well caught by Mahela Jaywawardene at second slip.Australia is trailing by 41 on the first innings after Sri Lanka scored 174 batting first.Earlier, the disciplined performance of Australian bowlers had destroyed the home team’s hopes of posting a good total when they won the toss and chose to bat on a good wicket.
