The first two matches of the series will be played in Abu Dhabi on October 26 and 27, and wicketkeeper-batsman Kusal Perera will captain the Islanders in the T20I format.
Sri Lanka limited-overs regular skipper Upul Tharanga has pulled out of the third T20I in Lahore, reported cricbuzz. Tharanga’s decision to skip the Lahore game makes him ineligible to lead the side in the first two games of the series as well. SLC had earlier announced that one squad would be picked to play all three T20Is versus Pakistan.
