(Web Desk) - It seems Umar Akmal cannot seem to catch a break from criticism even when he is away from Pakistan. The player was recently disgraced on Twitter by cricket fans after he posted a picture of himself with a Bentley.
According to NDTV, fans began verbally spit roasting Umar after he uploaded a picture of himself with a shiny silver Bentley along with the text caption, “enjoying London after hard work”.

However if he was hoping to defuse the situation with such a declaration he was sadly mistaken. The hailstorm of accusations and insults continued to pour in with some fans stating that the criticism was a form of tough love.

Umar Akmal was once thought of to be the next big thing in Pakistani cricket. He has however failed to live up to his hype and his career suffered a major setback after he was omitted from the Pakistan Cricket Board’s list of players eligible for getting national contracts.
Umar is currently spending time in England where he claims to be working hard on improving his fitness.
