LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan skipper across all formats Sarfraz Ahmed has gotten no-objection certificate (NOC) from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to play county cricket in England.
As per the details available here, Sarfraz will represent Yorkshire in five matches in the Natwest T20 Blast from August 3.
Sarfraz Ahmed has replaced Australia’s Peter Handscomb in the team. The club’s local wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow is playing for national side against South Africa.
Furthermore, Sarfraz will be Pakistan’s first wicketkeeper to play the county cricket. He will depart for England on July 27, and play his first match on August 3 against Derbyshire.
