WELLINGTON, (AFP) - South Africa beat New Zealand by eight wickets on day three of the second Test after being set a target of 81 to win in Wellington on Saturday.

New Zealand’s second innings ended at 171 with Jeet Raval making 80 and Keshav Maharaj taking six for 40.

South Africa lead the series 1-0 with the final Test starting in Hamilton next Saturday.
