Summary Pakistani commentators won't be part of Indian Premier League this year.
(Daily Dunya) - Amid escalating tensions, Pakistani commentators Ramiz Raja, Shoaib Akhtar and Waqar Younas will not be a part of this year Indian Premier League (IPL) as commentators.
Harsha Bhogle is likely to appear as commentator after gap of one year.
Harsha might be brought back due to the lack of experts in the studio as Pakistan commentators including Ramiz Raza, Waqar Younis and Shoaib Akhtar have opted out of IPL 2017, the IBT reported.
It may be recalled that Pakistani players are not included in IPL after a planted terrorist attack in 2008 in India’s financial hub Mumbai which claimed lives of at least 164 people.
