Summary Pakistan will play three Tests against West Indies.

LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Pakistan squad for West Indies tour will be announced after Pakistan Super League (PSL) ends, however, Misbah-ul-Haq will lead the Test team, reported Roznama Dunya.

As per schedule, the series will start with first of two Twenty20 matches on March 31. Three one-day internationals (ODIs) and three Tests will be played afterwards. It has also been informed that the number of Twenty20 matches can also be increased to four.

According to sources, selection committee has postponed the announcement of Test team until PSL is over as board officials are busy in preparations of PSL final.

On the other hand, Misbah-ul-Haq has also not informed Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) about his decision regarding retirement, but close sources of Misbah say he is ready to play West Indies series. Misbah-ul-Haq has also expressed this wish in an interview himself. Therefore, PCB is willing to give Misbah a farewell series in return of his great contributions to the team.

It is expected that the Test skipper will announce his retirement in the final Test against West Indies, but the matter is yet to be finalized with PCB.

PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan has also said that Misbah will decide about his future himself, and PCB will completely cooperate with him towards the end of his career.
