Summary BCCI has asked for more time to vote on reforms in International Cricket Council

DUBAI (Dunya News) – India fails to gain working group representation in the all important ICC meeting. One of the powerful boards of world cricket wasn’t even asked about its opinion on starting new leagues.

The Indian board first threatened to not participate in ICC Champions Trophy 2017 and then took a U-turn. BCCI chairman Vinod Rai said in an interview that pulling out of Champions Trophy is not an option.

He told that the BCCI has requested International Cricket Council to delay the voting on new monetary system and reforms till June.

It is expected that the Indian cricket board will not get current 21pc of ICC revenue after the acceptance of new monetary model.
