Summary Cannot say anything about remaining captain until 2018 for now, says Misbah
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq has expressed that he hasn’t decided to leave captaincy after the Australian tour as yet.
Misbah-ul-Haq cleared out that he cannot say anything about remaining captain until 2018 for now. However, he let it be known that unless and until his team needs him, his services will be available.
It is pertinent to mention that Chairman PCB Shahryar Khan has revealed during his recent interview about the cricket board wish that Misbah-ul-Haq should remain as captain of the squad. Shahryar also let it be known that although it’s Misbah-ul-Haq personal decision, however the board wishes that he should remain as captain until 2018.
Misbah-ul-Haq has captained the side in 50 Test matches and has won 24 tests during the same tenure.
