MUMBAI (Web Desk) - West Indies defeated England by 6 wickets after a superb display of aggressive batting from the Windies in the second innings sealing a thumping victory for them, reported Dunya News.
West Indies skipper Darren Sammy won the toss and elected to bowl first against England, led by Eoin Morgan, in the 15th match of the ICC World T20 2016 on Wednesday.
English batsmen played with aggression for the most part of the innings and managed to score 182 runs with the loss of 6 wickets. Joe Root was England s top scorer with 48 runs whereas Russell and Bravo both took 2 wickets each.
West Indies lost an early wicket at the start of their innings but they were quite quick to recover as Gayle and Samuels smashed the England bowlers all over the ground. Gayle scored a magnificent century and remained not out as West Indies defeated England by 6 wickets.
