Summary Global oil prices increase as Brent and WTI rise, raising concerns over energy costs and import bills for fuel-dependent economies.

LONDON (Dunya News) — Global crude oil prices recorded an increase in international trading, according to foreign media reports.

The price of Brent crude rose by 72 cents per barrel, bringing it to $80.57 per barrel.

Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil increased by 94 cents per barrel, reaching $77.54 per barrel.

Market analysts say the rise in global oil prices could impact energy, transport and other sectors worldwide. They also warn that countries relying heavily on imported fuel may face increased import bills and rising economic pressure.
