Summary Inflation goes unchecked as eatables and other essential commodities prices are on the rise.
The federal statistics reveal that the prices of at least 21 items registered an increase. The average percentage of price hike during the current week is 8.3. However, the prices of onions, potatoes, tomatoes, chicken, bread, bananas and dried milk increased by 1 to 13 per cent.The prices of wheat, flour, gur, meat and rice also registered an increase. The prices of items other than eatables such as cloth, kerosene and wood also increased.
