Summary The State Bank of Pakistan has changed the working hours of all commercial banks.
A statement issued by the State Bank of Pakistan said that the changed working hours would be applicable from today (Saturday).The step has been taken following the announcement of the federal cabinet to observe two weekly holidays, Saturday and Sunday, to save energy.The banks will remain open from Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 5:00pm while on Friday the banks would work from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
