Summary The government has decided to reduce power subsidy to Rs 24 billion.
According to sources, the government is spending Rs 190 billion per annum on power subsidy and now it Rs 24 billion reduction will be made. With fresh decrease, electricity charges will go up by 36-40 paisa per unit.
