Summary Downward trend remained at the Karachi Stock Exchange and world markets.
The market started the day with negative trend and the KSE-100 index shed 60 points during the first trading session. Declining trend witnessed during the whole day and the KSE-100 index shed 161 points or 1.4 percent decrease to close at 11,690 points. Trade volume remained at 88 million shares, which was 35 percent lower from Wednesday’s trade volume. Shares of 169 companies closed down while 82 firms remained at the positive side.
