Summary Expats sent $11.20 billion remittances to Pakistan in 2011.
According to sources, remittances reached 11 billion dollars for the first time in history, and the amount was 26 percent or $2.29billion more than 2010’s.Remittances had crossed the $1.10 billion mark in the month of June.
