Summary The country is facing billions of rupee losses due to the worst law and order situation.
The country has to bear Rs 15 billion loss in production, Rs 3 million in taxes, about $700 million inexport and Rs 5 billion in daily use items trade due to closure of Karachi trade activity. According to KCCI VP, the poor law and order situation is not only affecting business but also putting extra in form of fixed charges of electricity, interest on loans and export orders. He said that it was impossible for traders to run business in such circumstances.
