Summary Reduction in the sale of assembled cars was recorded by 6 percent as compared to last year.
Whereas there is also rise in the import of cars. According to Pakistan Auto-Manufactures Association, in May, 13126 cars were sold whereas as a whole, 1,38,030 cars were sold during eleven months of last fiscal year. In Japan, auto industry was also badly affected due to Tsunami flood. Likewise, there is also rise the import of cars as 1800 cars were imported in April.
