Rupee gains 57 paisa against US dollar in interbank

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The exchange rate of Pakistani rupee strengthened by 57 paisa in the interbank on Wednesday against US dollar.

The greenback closed at 164.32 rupees on third business day of the week.

On Tuesday, United States dollar gained 81 paisa against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market to close at 164.89 rupees. Appreciation in value of USD increased debt burden on Pakistan by Rs430 billion.
