Summary PASCO MD said on Monday that wheat buying target will be achieved in first week of June.
In a meeting of Standing Committee for Food and Agriculture under the chair of Javed Iqbal Chaudhry, PSACO MD said that PASCO had set wheat purchase target of 13 lakh tonnes and 7.61 lakh tonnes of wheat has been purchased and the target will be achieved in the first week of June.During the meeting, the committee suggested the government to shift agricultural research centres of the ministry to provinces.
