State Bank of Pakistan bought back Rs 22.65 billion of Treasury bills on Tuesday under three-day at 13.2 percent to inject liquidity into a tight money market. The central bank was offered Rs 22.65 billion to buy the T-bills and Pakistan Investment Bonds (PIB’s) and the bank accepted the offer. The main purpose of buying back these T-bills was to inject liquidity into a tight money market.
