Summary The foreign investment shrinks to $1.53 percent after a reduction of $50 million.

During the first 10 month of the current fiscal year, 8.6 percent reduction is recorded in foreign investment.According to the State Bank of Pakistan, from July 2010 to April 2011the total volume of foreign investment in the country was $1.58 billion but the volume faced a decline due to the reduction of $50 million by the foreign public investment.During the same period in the last fiscal year, the total volume of investment was around $1.68 billion.
