Summary KCCI suggests the government to decrease borrowing from commercial banks.
Increase in sale tax, Afghan Trade Transit and smuggling are putting negative impact on the country’s economy, according to Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). The chamber has also send budget proposal to the government, demanding to enhance tax-net and introduce reforms to strengthen economy. The chamber further suggests the government to decrease borrowing from commercial banks.
