Summary A bullish trend was observed in the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) during the closing week.
The KSE 100 index gained 87 points as the week took a flying start in the market. The 100 index crossed the psychological barrier of 12,000 in the beginning of the week but wilted at the end and closed the week at 11,967.The investors remained cautious, considering the fact that the federal budget was expected at the end of this month. No improvement was observed in the overall trading volume and the altogether only 3.4 million shares were sold.
