Summary The consignee stock available at dealerships until end of March 19 will be invoiced at new price.

(Web Desk) – Following the footsteps of fellow competitor Pak Suzuki Motors, auto giant Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited (HACPL) has also raised the prices of their automobiles by up to Rs85, 000 which will come into effect from 1st April 2019, pakwheels reported.

“Owing to negative exchange rate impacts, Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited is compelled to increase the prices of Honda cars with effect from April 1 2018,” read a circular issued by Atlas Honda.

The Japanese automaker has jacked up prices by up to Rs85,000.

There are further conditions described for the applicability of the new prices on new bookings and back orders with partial or full payments. Only the back order cars due till April 2019 and those with cleared payments till 30th March 2019 will be delivered at the old price whereas those with partial or full payments will be invoiced on the newly announced price.

Moreover, the consignee stock available at the dealerships until the end of March 2019 will also be invoiced at the new price.

The circular further added, “All the new bookings will take place at a minimum price of PKR 1.2 million, according to the circular issued by Honda Atlas. Note here that this month had previously seen a price hike in Honda Civic variants due to the levied 10% FED on locally made cars of 1700 cc engine displacement and above by the government.”
