Summary FDI remained $1.825 billion during July 2010 and March 2011.

Volume of foreign investment in Pakistan during the first nine months of the current fiscal year has been recorded at $1.31 billion.According to the data about foreign investment issued by the State Bank of Pakistan, foreign direct investment (FDI) has declined by 28 percent this year as compared to the same period of last year. Portfolio investment remained $235.5 million with an increase of 229 percent. Foreign investment is on the decline in Pakistan due to deteriorating law and order situation.
