As the power short fall has risen up to 525 mega watts, cities, in southern Punjab, are facing 10 to 12 hours, while villages are facing 10 to 14 hours load shedding a day that has paralysed the power looms industry. The factory owners have abandoned a shift due to the power crisis that left thousands of workers jobless.
