Summary Bearish trend prevailed at the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) this week.

The benchmark 100-index dropped 438 points at the end of business week. The situation at KSE could not improve due to a number of issues including political confrontation in the country, downfall in Asian markets and release of Raymond Davis. However, the market witnessed record hike of 25 percent due to the launching of margin financing. Business volume remained 56 core shares this week. At the end of the week, the index closed at 11,607 points.
