KARACHI (Dunya News) - Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) larger tax unit on Thursday suspended registration of Shell Pakistan for tax evasion of Rs 3 billion, Dunya News reported.
After the cancellation of the registration, Shell Pakistan cannot do any business in the country. Shell Pakistan committed Rs 3 billion tax fraud to evade tax.
According to FBR, Shell Pakistan was committing tax fraud for the past three years. Shell concealed the actual amount of sale of its products and paid less tax.
