Summary KESC said that hike in POL prices would affect the power consumers.
According to KESC spokesperson, the KESC have to increase the power tariff due to the fresh increase in POL prices. He said that gas supply to KESC has reduced, therefore, increase in POL prices would affect the power tariff. He maintained that hike in power tariff would hit the common man. He urged the government to increase the gas supply to the KESC to avoid the possible increase in power tariff.
