Summary The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has extended for the second time the period of waiver under Export Finance Scheme (EFS).
Earlier, waiver for 180 days, up-to December 31, 2010 was allowed for the purpose of availing financing under EFS to those exporters whose export proceeds were overdue. But the waiver has not extended up to June 30, 2011 under EFS. All the banks are bound to extend the waiver as per new circular.
