Summary The PSO has suspended oil supply to the Kot Addu Power Company (KAPCO). A long queue of tankers is standing outside the KAPCO but oil storage has reached to deadline.

According to sources, KAPCO was liable to pay billions of rupees of outstanding dues to PSO for oil supply while WAPDA had to pay Rs 60 billion to KAPCO under electricity supply. Due to nonpayment of outstanding arrears by KAPCO, PSO suspended its oil supply from last several days. According to sources, the country can face severe energy crisis if PSO doesn’t restore oil supply. Drivers of oil tankers are worried in these circumstances.
