Summary Pakistan trade deficit decreased by 380 million dollars during the first 7 months of 2010-2011 fiscal year.
According to a report issued by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), during the seven months of the year, import volume remained at 19.55 billions dollar and import volume remained at 13.70 billions dollar. According to the report trade deficit was decreased by 380 millions as compare with the last year. The report further said that during the Jan 2011 export volume persisted at 2.4 billions dollar and import volume was continued at 2.70 billion dollar and trade deficit remained at 77.8 millions dollar.
