Summary Automated Teller Machine (ATM) usage is expanding fast in Pakistan as 4,734 ATM machines were installed in the country at the end of the second quarter of the current fiscal year.
According to a State Bank report, in the last quarter of ongoing fiscal year 172 new ATM machine were installed. Three hundred-nine branches of various banks were upgraded in the capacity of real time online braches, the report said.Overall 76% branches of the banks operating in the country are providing real time online banking services.
