In spite of facing severe energy crisis, speed of exploring new deposits of oil and gas remained lower. According to a report, only 19 wells of oil and gas were dug in the current year while 28 was the number last year. Performance of drilling remained poor this year. Target of digging 80 wells was set for the current year but it was failed.
