Summary In Mirpur and Azad Kashmir LPG price stands at Rs 85 per kilogram
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Marketing companies of Liquefied Petroleum Gas have hiked price by Rs 10 per kilogram on Monday without any notification issued by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority.
According to the LPG Distributers Association, marketing companies have started pocketing illegal profits worth crores of Rupees by selling locally produced gas at the international price.
Analysts have warned that LPG would be stand at Rs 250/Kg if government does not intervene now.
Irfan Khokhar, Chairman of the association has demanded Minister for Petroleum, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to take notice of hiking price without OGRA’s notification.
As of now the LPG is being sold at Rs 75 per kilogram in Karachi while at Rs 80 per kilogram in Lahore, Kasur, Jhelum, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Peshawar, Gujranwala and Peshawar.
In Mirpur and Azad Kashmir LPG price stands at Rs 85 per kilogram.
