HONG KONG (AFP) - Hong Kong stocks opened higher Monday following speculation Britain will vote to remain in the European Union this week.
The Hang Seng Index added 1.24 percent, or 250.65 points, to 20,420.65.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was flat, rising 0.09 percent, or 2.53 points, to 2,887.64.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China s second exchange, added 0.17 points to 1,900.91.
