KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chicken price has surged to Rs 360 per kilogram (Kg) with Rs 130 hike within the last two weeks, Dunya News reported Saturday.
According to the All Pakistan Poultry Association, live-weighed chicken price stands at Rs 200 per Kilogram. Spokesperson of the association said that a section of poultry farmers had quit the business due to losses rendered in the last season.
Altered breeding after a section bailed out has led to an imbalance in demand and supply, he added.
