Gold prices hit record high in the local as well as international markets on Thursday. Local prices surged to a record Rs43,700 per tola. According to the Sindh Sarafa Association, an increase of 350 rupees per tola was witnessed in the local markets today. Whereas, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs 300 to reach Rs 37,457. International markets witnessed an increase of more than $28 per ounce during the month of October.
